A majority of the hotel rooms will have ocean views and all will have a balcony. Additionally, many of the individual rooms will be connected to accommodate a wide range of guest preferences. The hotel will also incorporate 5,000 ft2 of meeting and banquet space, as well as ample unique outdoor spaces for events. There is no comparable product on Ambergris Caye, which will position The Grand Baymen Oceanside as the island’s only, and much needed, option for large groups in need of meeting space. The hotel will also feature fitness and spa facilities, pool, fine dining, beach bar, café, and The Mahogany Bar, which will pay tribute to Belize’s cultural heritage and surround guests in luxurious local hardwoods. All of ECI’s properties are built to North American standards, and The Grand Baymen Oceanside will set the standard for luxury on Ambergris Caye.
