Scientific Tourism Flourishes in Costa Rica and Belize
This summer, the first-ever study abroad opportunity for the University of North Georgia’s (UNG) biology department took students to tropical reefs teeming with vibrant sea life off the coast of Belize and highland forests in Costa Rica, where 100 percent humidity keeps the treetops shrouded in mist.
