SPTC Adds New Trash Compactor Truck to Fleet
Late last month, members of the San Pedro Town Council gathered to mark the occasion when the first of four new trash compactor vehicles arrived to Ambergris Caye. San Pedro Mayor Danny Guerrero and Deputy Mayor Gary Greif were on hand at the unveiling and indicated that the service vehicle will be put to use immediately. The trucks are a big part of a wider plan to curtail trash on the island. Another part of the effort aims to encourage residents to not litter their own properties with trash.
