In observation of World Environment Day, a group of teachers and students from Belmopan traveled to a small village to learn about ongoing sustainable farming practices in Belize. The group was able to see how things like beans, plantains, and cacao are produced. All three of these crops play an important role in Belize’s agricultural sector, both as exports and local favorites.
